Sonata MikroMakro

$25.00

Piece for 2 Pianos and Percussion

Written in 3 movements

Duration: 12 minutes

Notes:
As is evident from the title alone, Sonata MikroMakro is influenced by the structures, textures, and colors of other composers who wrote for this instrumentation— most prominently Bela Bartok and George Crumb. Written in three parts, this piece attempts to build upon and reimagine the languages of such studied composers, while recontextualizing, on a personal level, elements of rhythm, folklore, and harmony. And overall, an obsession with piano writing has brought this music to fruition.

Purchase includes full score, plus separate piano and percussion scores
